Trench Diary

Hi everyone this is my trench diary it is about what I hear, see, taste, smell, feel and think. It was really fun doing this and actually believing that I was there. I also liked doing what I thought was going to happen on everything and telling what I wanted to say.  Make sure to check out my post of my other work in 2017 but check this one out.

I can feel the cold skin from all the rain that was pouring down from the sky on us. I feel the soft watery mud squishing with my foot and the hard tins that we have for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I think I am going to pass because of the bad food I always think that someone is holding a sniper to my head. The worst one is I always think I am going to be battling alone.

  1. Hi Catlin,
What a powerful way to appreciate the sacrifice of the soldiers who went to war. You have used a lot of descriptive language and this. Your words have painted a picture in my head on what it could have been like at Gallipoli. Well done
