In reading we read a story about Painting The Town also we did a personal response about it. It was really easy doing this because I knew most things about art. Also it was fun doing this because we got to learn about things that happens in Christchurch. We had to use our likes and dislikes and many more to see what we know about the story. 	QUESTION	Why are they painting the town and doing art everywhere ?   Who is doing all the artwork and painting the town ?  Where does this artwork and graffiti come from ?
	WAS SURPRISED ABOUT	I was surprised about the artwork because it looks realistic even from a distance.   I was also surprised about the earthquake demolishing 80 percent of buildings in the central business.  Another thing I was surprised about was them doing artwork of people’s things that have been lost.
	LIKED	Something I liked was all the artwork on every page because it looks cool.   I also really liked the artwork of on page 12 because it actually looked like it was coming out of the wall  I also liked how they are thinking of other people and how they lost
	DIDN’T LIKE	I  didn’t like how the earthquakes broke 80 percent of the houses   I also didn’t like how the earthquake happened  Also I didn’t like how people lost the thing during the earthquake

	MADE ME THINK ABOUT	It made me think about earthquakes happening everywhere in the world   It also made me think about losing by thing that I had and I lost  Also it made me think about doing art in kidney

 Talofa lava Learners,
Welcome to my blog. I have been posting a lot of my work in 2017 and working hard on it so please make sure to comment and check them out. My blog shows a lot of the things that we do in school and in class. We had a ceremony to open the new class with a special guest Mr Wood and a performance from our Kapa Hakka group with two nice songs.Also there was a sign that was made from a fabulous artist Ms sands she made a sign that said Te Waka Ako which means the canoe of learning.There was a ribbon that was cut by Mr Wood to finally open the class rooms.

In term two we moved into an exciting building with all the senior school students. We had to write in all sorts of hats to understand about what we were feeling. Doing the hats I learned that we have a lot more to learn about the classes and the students. Also I learned that we need to respect a lot of people and things around the class rooms because we need to learn to work with different people. All the challenges that I faced was getting everything ready and trying to work with a hole lot of people that I don't usually hang out with. Another one of my challenges was having to leave the old class rooms because there were a lot of funny memories in there. I think there going to start adding some more buildings and have a lot of nice people working there or going school there. Thank you for reading my exciting day in the new classes hop you liked it. Caesar The Anzac dog

This is my Caesar the Anzac Dog slideshow. Caesar was a great dog even though he passed in war. We shall remember him and the soldiers that died too. Caesar was a red cross dog who was trained to find wounded soldiers lying deep or in the mud. I thought the story was was a really sad story because of how Caesar died, but at least we still have his collar in the museum to remember him. He was fighting side by side with a man named tom who had a  incident and went blind. Make sure to look at all my other 2017 work posts.

Trench Diary

Hi everyone this is my trench diary it is about what I hear,see,taste,smell,feel and think. It was really fun doing this and actually believing that I was there. I also liked doing what I thought was going to happen on everything and telling what I wanted to say.  Make sure to check out my post of my other work in 2017 but check this one out.

WALT describe using our senses

	As I walk up the trench I see wounded soldiers and some that died lying there on the ground.I see rats eating all the flesh out of the missing soldiers.
	I can hear all the gunshots going back and forth and all the ear screeching explosions landing in many different places.I can also hear the soldiers crying that they will never see their family again.
	I can taste the dirty muddy air going into my mouth and the old taste of the soft biscuits . The old canned food making my tummy ache .
	I can smell the dirty soldiers in old uniforms mixed with dirty muddy boots. I can smell. I can also smell dirty rats nearby getting ready to eat.
	I can feel the cold skin from all the rain that was pouring down from the sky on us. I feel the soft watery mud squishing with my foot and the hard tins that we have for breakfast,lunch and dinner.
	My heart is pounding as I get ready for the war I pick up my with my heart pounding a million miles. I dropped hoping this was just a dream I pulled the trigger then kapow.
	I think I am going to pass because of the bad food I always think that someone is holding a sniper to my head. The worst one is I always think I am going to be battling alone.

Doing this Anzac writing was great even though I didn't do much Anzac related things it was still fun being with my family. It was nice hearing my little sister laugh because of her being at the beach for the first time and that was amazing. Thanks Blog u later.
